No point in building a PC until you can use it.

I wouldn't get a PC without an SSD, and I wouldn't get a CPU that old for that amount.

What cpu would you recommend

Any reason you went with the Corsair AIO? You could shave money off there and go for a 5600x.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

get an SSD like @dizmo says, get a 5600x by using some AIO funds like @IkeaGnome mentioned, and you will need a video card otherwise the system will essentially not work because you will have no video signal. either get a processor with integrated graphics or get a dedicated card.

EDIT- oops saw u wanted a 3060. just know that you cannot use the system till you get the card.

Use the integrated GPU until you get a GPU for a good price and I'd recommend using windows 10 unactivated

Big nerd.

Would a Samsung 860 EVO 1tb SSD work with my motherboard which is a ASRock B550M Pro4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

If you wanted to build now, @davemchas a good list with integrated graphics. If you're holding off for the GPU, here is a 5600x. Cheaper cooler and ram makes room for a 1 tb m.2. I went for a faster but smaller HDD for the same price. These are cheap and can be added on later as you need more storage. It's actually enough cheaper than your original list that you could add a second one of the 2tb HDD and have the same storage at a slightly cheaper price overall. You can also get Windows much cheaper.
