GPU fan rattling noise at high RPM

I recently bought a gtx 980 off of ebay and it works fine and looks like it has been taken care of. The only issue I've seen, or heard, is a fan rattling noise from the GPU at high rmps When I'm just browsing the internet or watching vids there is no problem, but when I launch a game the fans will ramp up and create a rattling noise. Any idea as to why this could be and what I can do about it?

A rattle would mean something is loose, you should check it out and fix it.
