Are the 68whr and 99whr batteries same in dimensions for Alienware 15 R3 ?

I need to buy a new battery for my 2017 Alienware 15R3. It originally came with 68whr battery but it swelled up because I always kept my laptop plugged in (so 100% battery all the time) and also it absorbed a lot of heat while I played games. So I need to a new one and thought of getting the 99whr version. I just want to know if the 99 one will fit in my Alienware. Also, can anybody suggest a website to buy from in India or send a link ?

Look at the specs and find their dimensions and compare. if they are the same, it's OK, as long as you buy original brand (no knockoffs) it should be fine.

Usually the larger batteries extend out the back a bit. I know they do on the regular Dell laptops I have had.  

 

The battery listings should have pics and dimensions.  You may have to do some legwork on this one.

Makes sense, I’ll try looking for dimensions. But I just wanna know if the 99whr will work in every way with my Alienware since it originally came with 68whr one.

If it sys it will, it will.  I mean if it's made for the Alienware then no worries.
