Facebook = 0 tech support

Hi,

 

02H36 , may 30 2021

 

I got a message from Facebook about "your Facebook security code" (pic1) and a changing password. At this time I was sleeping. when I click on the link of the email to "protect" my account nothing work because the hacker change the email.

I was able to set-up a new email on the account with my driver ID, but the hacker mail is still there (pic5) and when I ask for a code to change my password (pic3)  it didn't work  (pic4) ...

 

Now i'm in a quest to get support from FB....

 

Anyone does have any tips for to get back my account ?

Prayer. Not a shitpost, a genuine suggestion. Facebook takes forever to respond, and when they do, if they do at all, it's usually to tell you you're SOL.

 

Of course, I can't read French, so maybe they've already done that?

I feel you years ago my personal facebook account got terminated for "impersonation" an account with over 12 years worth of photos and their customer support was no use. Some people abuse things like this to shut down accounts knowing facebook will never care for a single user.

I made a new account just to report it in English and French. I will try every day....

I read that I need to advertise to got the live chat support on:

https://www.facebook.com/business/help/ but they already sell my data... they dont care about normal user.....

I hate using facebook as well very sketchy but sometimes can be continent and all friends and family on it.

Oh man, idk. Honestly, your efforts are about as good as mine, keep nagging and hopefully they'l respond faster, because hopefully they'll get annoyed. I hope this works out for ya, and sorry I couldn't help you more.Just remember for next time, (If there is one, of course) that Facebook won't send you a code without you asking (out of the blue). Also, make sure to look at the sender's adress and keep an eye out for grammar mistakes that almost never happen with big companies. If you're feeling uncertain about a message, ask a friend, or ignore it, and see what happens, as being locked out of your account for a little while is better than being hacked, if the code was legit.

This original email may not have come from Facebook in the first place and may have been a piece of social engineering malware.  Remember, people with Facebook accounts aren’t users, they’re “cattle” for want of a better word.  The actual users are the people that buy the ads.

Hello guys,

just a follow up

 

I messaged a e-mail I found on the carreers page of facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/careers/jobs ) , accommodations-ext@fb.com .

I say to them I know it's wasnt the good mail for that and where I can get support and I explained the situation and about 4 hours later I receive a mail from facebook on the original mail account with a password, I was able to get my account after almost 5 day  !!

Its was a orignal facebook email and I dont click on link on the email. I was already disconnected on all my device when I woke up.
