RTX 2070 Super mounting holes question

Hello Awesome LTT forum people!

I hope everyone is fine and safe during these corona shizzle. Just a question about my gpu. I have a Gigabyte RTX 2070 super Windforce OC 8G with stock cooler. I can buy an good aftermarket cooler from a friend, but wanted to know for sure if it will fit. 

According to him the card needs to support any 53mm and 58mm hole distance but can't find anything online so far....

The Gigabyte Windforce 3-fan cooler is generally regarded as pretty good. Why are you wanting to replace it?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

The oem cooler seems enough, and replacing it would probably make the thermal worse since gpu is not only the part that's get cooled

Most aftermarket cooler rely on small heatsink for vrm and ram than ethier full cover copper plate and sometimes direct heatsink contact on most of tge gpu oem cooler
