Ayush008

Hello Guys,

Hope you all are doing well !!

Stay safe and healthy.

YOUR OPINION IS HIGHLY VALUABLE FOR ME.

I know many of you guys have depth knowledge regarding pc stuffs and all so i thought to share this post with all of you.

I have purchased rtx 3090 on oct 2020 from rp tech. After using it 7 or 8 months  I hv started observing some abnormal activities on my screen like image disturbance and screen fluctuation. For you better understanding I have uploaded the image.

Please help me out what should i do now.

is this gpu's fault ??

If you don't overclock, try a different display cable. If that doesn't work, start RMA procedure.

Thnx @Naijin, for sharing your opinion. I will mail the picture to nvidia customer service for proof that my gpu is not working properly.

Did you buy the gpu directly from Nvidia?

looks like artifacting and could be signs of bad VRAM

which isnt surprising since 3090 VRAM can be 110c and throttling often if you dont pay attention to it

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

test with different hardwares, make sure it's the GPU's fault

and RMA it if it is

thing is... G6x comes with memory correction, so it shouldnt artifact like this

in my experience, when G6x is unstable it'll just lower the performance because it's memory correcting, so im not too sure about my hypothesis

Thnx for your suggestion, I will keep that thing in my mind.

@Moonzy, bdw I was thinking that if there's disturbance in image or display output , gpu is responsible. So I was thinking for rma. But after reading your previous comment , I have assumed that other hardware could also be responsible for that.

M I right ?

Idk why but I'm facing strange disturbance like this -👇👇

Try other input or GPU if you have any on hand

Could be the display as well
