Almost exactly 6 months. I had to reinstall when I finally switched to using an SSD.

A few months old. I reinstall after every hardware upgrade after messy drivers wrecked my RAID array and I didn't have a backup

My Windows 10 install on my main computer used to be about 3 years old when I reinstalled a couple months ago. It worked flawlessly. The only reason I reinstalled was because I was troubleshooting a problem and I thought maybe reinstalling Win10 would fix the issue. It didn't.

The Win10 install in my secondary computer/off-site backup has been running for about 2 years now, I think. The SSD with it actually used to be in my laptop. I couldn't be bothered to reinstall it so I simply plugged it into the 2ndary computer and it works perfectly, no reinstall needed.

The ZorinOS Lite in my laptop is about 5 days old now. I'm liking it so far. 😄

Ryzen 1600x @4GHz

Asus GTX 1070 8GB @1900MHz

16 GB HyperX DDR4 @3000MHz

Asus Prime X370 Pro

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

Noctua NH-U14S

Seasonic M12II 620W

+ four different mechanical drives.

Windows: December 2020. Drive File Stream likes to corrupt icons. The only way to fix this issue permanently according to other users with the same issue was to do a clean install. Though I am part of the Windows Insider Program so I guess I “reinstall” every few weeks.

Mac: Never. Though I do install updates as soon as they are available.
