Budget (including currency):  $2000 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light Streaming, Gaming, Schoolwork

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I currently have no peripherals besides a Headset & Mouse (which needs to be upgraded soon but not currently.) If anyone has any Keyboard recommendations that would be amazing. This is going to be my first PC Build ever so I'm not too sure what I need and don't need regarding what I'm planning to do with it. I want to play at 1080 and 144hz. I would like to be able to play games like Minecraft, Rocket League, Rust, Rainbow Six, Destiny 1 & 2 + More. I need at least 2 Monitors. One Mainly for Gaming, and another for things like Discord, YouTube etc.

If anyone would be kind enough to help me that would be great!

[PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Dk3dVc)

Getting a 1080p 144hz build for two monitors will be difficult try this list but see if you can use Newegg shuffle eBay listings or anyway other to get a cheaper gpu these prices are way too overpriced. But overall it should be able to do what you want keep in mind that you could probably get away with a gtx 1660 or 1650 for those games but i suspect that you wont be getting 144 frames per second

edit: realized you wanted light streaming better off going ryzen but i chose intel because of its better single core performance for Minecraft and some other games ( don't quote me on that)

What Ryzen would you recommend? A Ryzen 7 3700x or something lower?

It's going to be tough making a Ryzen 7 fit in your budget if you want to buy 2 monitors and a graphics card now. Here's roughly what I'd recommend:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($299.00 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 GAMING EDGE WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($179.98 @ B&H)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory  ($84.60 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Blue 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive  ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($55.49 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB SC ULTRA GAMING Video Card  ($699.00 @ Amazon)
Case: Lian Li Lancool II Mesh ATX Mid Tower Case  ($118.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA GA 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($79.98 @ Amazon)
Monitor: LG 24MK600M-B 24.0" 1920x1080 75 Hz Monitor  ($147.99 @ Amazon)
Monitor: LG 27GN750-B 27.0" 1920x1080 240 Hz Monitor  ($296.99 @ Amazon)

Obviously the GPU is overpriced (you'd be paying more than double the normal price if you bought now). There are a few things you can do:

- getting the build I suggested but it's a little over your budget and I'm not sure it'll allow you to game at 144fps. To me it's not dramatic but maybe that's important to you. (You can save a little on the motherboard and the case without loosing much performance)

- go Intel and chose a CPU that has onboard graphics. It'll save you 700$ now, and you can wait for the graphics cards prices to go down, and then buy a gpu.

- Or buy only one monitor for now and then save to get a second one later (or buy it second hand second hand... If it's just to display the twitch chat the image quality shouldn't matter too much)

Okay I Appreciate it! I'm actually trying to get a GPU on the Newegg Shuffle and by Stalking my local BestBuy. I plan on either a 3060 or a 3070 maybe.
I don't know much about computers so why wouldn't it run games at 144fps?

Well it's hard to explain, especially caus I don't know how much you know. but rendering many frames per seconds is a very hard task. It depends on many factors (which ram you have, which CPU, GPU... And which game you're running). Running 144fps on recent titles will require the best components on the markets, but also it's not necessary to enjoy them. I'd advise you to take a look at some benchmarks on YouTube to see what components yield in terms of FPS so you start to get a feel for what that means

The main thing I'll most likely be playing is Regular and Modded Minecraft. I'll get some pretty good FPS in that right?

a rtx 3060 will run minecraft at well over 300 fps on fancy with everything maxed out add a couple shaders some mods and you' ll easily be above 144 fps at all times source: intel integrated apus which are hot garbage compared to ryzen apus can run 100 fps easily

Okay. So let's peer off building a PC here..

If I were to just get a Prebuilt for around the same price what would be recommeneded?

Oh boy, I re read what I wrote yesterday and it must not have been very helpful haha. Sorry I have a little tired drunk.

Yes prebuilt is the way to go if you want to get a graphics card that won't be too overpriced. The problem is on many stores you don't have much information on components like the motherboard or the power supply. I'd advice reading some reviews before buying anything. But anything based on a Ryzen 5 5600x and an RTX 3060 or above will most likely satisfy your needs. I heard good things about the HO Omen lineup. But probably other people on this forum know more than I do.
