Help with building a new gaming PC for my girlfriend

Hi everyone. I'm looking to build a gaming pc for my girlfriend. I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations on what I should get her. She only plans on playing games like the sims. I'd like to build her a good mid-level gaming pc, that way if she gets into any demanding titles she's still able to play them. She is in no rush to get one. I'm hoping the prices of computer components will start to decrease before I buy anything for her PC. My budget for her would be around $1500. Any recommendations would be great. Thank you!

If you want to wait until the prices fall, wait with your post. Its not likely that the GPU prices will fall any time soon and at the end of the year Intel will release new processors, so it might be different then
