Issues with my PC

Go to solution Solved by Farm-Boy_7130,

Everyone, I have found the problem and I have the solution. Unfortunately, It has caused permeant damage to my cpu and it is unfixable (the cpu)

So a funny story: I've heard it said millions of times, Check easy things first. Well it plays out here.

One of my RAM Modules was malfunctioning and causing my entire pc to do some really funny things. I moved my pc around (about 75 miles of driving total it was in my brothers truck) And then oh boy, Boy oh boy the problems really started again. AGAIN May I mention. I have swapped the motherboard in my pc once. I went from a Gigabyte Z390 UD (obviously Intel LGA socket) to an Asus Prime Z390-A and The problems went away. Momentarily. They returned with the same issues but slightly different yesterday. They did escalate however, I'm not sure but I usually do not have smoke POURING out of my DIMM slots. One of my RAM sticks just absolutely gave up on life to a point to where it started smoking. I do have the source but I am not going to reveal it. Let's just call it, First time builders Mistakes. lol

Word to the wise: Check easy things first.

RAM Is a common issue that I, for some reason was too stupid to check. Thankfully my motherboard realized there was an issue and the DRAM Debug light came on and it bootlooped. I hope this helps somebody sometime somewhere. Thanks for all the help you guys gave me!

It crashes sometimes on start. It usually does not have any issues once I get into windows (keyword, usually) and if it does It's usually minor things. And It really starts having an issue when the cpu starts getting the overclock messed up and clocks too high (4.9-5.0 GHz)

The overclocking might have damaged your cpu so that is also a probable explanation as to why your cpu could be the problem, most likely unfixable, as cpu insides cannot be fixed if damaged. So that means you're gonna have to deal with it for now until you get a new cpu unfortunately. If you want something on a really tight budget I'd recommend to buy an I3 10th or 11th gen or an i5 10th or 11th gen. Unless you're gonna sell your pc lo.

I guess this concludes this for now, until something new comes up doesn't seem like we have much choices if the cpu is damaged, if it's something else yes, there are a lot of fixes, but damaged parts usually have to be replaced, do you still have warranty for it? Though overclocking breaks it so might not work.

So I reset everything, Absolutely EVERYTHING. BIOS, Overclock, EVERYTHING. We're still getting extreme temps in minecraft and major spikes in small games but the real task I suppose will be Forza and BeamNG.Drive

I guess We'll se how she fairs in those.
