We still dont understand what you are looking for here.. I think you are wondering if you need a custom loop for the CPU? That PRISM cooler should still be enough for a stock 3700x as its only a 65 TDP chip.

Ah i kinda understand know. Well first off, what EXACT model is the PSU? "corsair 650" doesnt really tell us much except the wattage. Could be a real shitty unit or a good one.

 

And also, a custom loop doesnt really need "loads" more power than a normal system. The pump will most likely draw around 10-20w (different for each model) and i doubt youll need a PSU upgrade JUST for that extra 20w.

its a 650cv but u think the prism (My cooler now) takes the same as a pump?

I wouldnt say its a "trash" PSU, tho i dont have much experience with ranking PSUs. Should still be fine. And no, your current CPU cooler doesnt draw as much as a pump. Cant really say HOW much but its definitely way less than a pump. Its just a fan after all.
