Quick little case mod

Ravendarat

This is just a quick 1 post rundown of what I did. I used an In Win 301 for a shop computer that’s used just to program some module firmwares, surf the web and play movies to my shop tv, very light work load. I wanted a case I could fit in my tool box and match the color.

the In Win fit the case but white or black wouldn’t do, and the airflow, while sufficient for this build, wasn’t what I wanted. Right now this is just an apu stystem but once I get a new card for my gaming rig my 2060ko will end up on this. So I cut a couple holes in the front for the 120mm fans so they could pull air from there as opposed to the side panel where a lot of the air gets blocked by cabling anyways. Then it was off to get color mixed for the new paint job. 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint and 4-5 coats of clear and this is the final outcome. I’m happy with everything except the top rgb strip, tried hot glue, double sided tape and magnets. Finally settled on Velcro for now cause it’s all that would hold, I’ll find something later to replace that so I can get a clean run instead of that wavy crap going on.

Also that mod turned out great. Looks like it matches the box pretty well.
