Repaste it and try it out. Because of thermal throttling, the GPU should not have died at all.

It looks alright in the picture?

Because I suddenly bumped on a post which said if you scratch the gpu dye its broken

Yeah you aren't supposed to give the die a deep scratch, but a itty bitty scratch is OK. Overclocks literally rub off the top like .5 mm of the die to make temperatures better for extreme OC, like were talking negative 140 C.

A good thermal paste application will patch fill in any microscopic gash left by a scratch.

But ofc, do a even paste spread and reassemble the card with all the thermal pads on the memory and VRM, and try again. You might be pleasantly surprised.

When I checked the die, half a mm is literally half of the dies height, it means I am kinda safe yeah?

Should be. Apply a good bit of thermal paste (too much doesn't hurt too little does) and make sure it's a bit spread out to start. Then rebuild the card and plug it in.
