If they do it, then yes it is clearly worth it. It will be a nice extra source of income for the cinema.

Then you have 4 or 5 viewings per day and multiple screens showing at the same time, suddenly your $500 can easily be $10,000 a day.

 

The better argument against it is the insane prices for snacks they already charge.
