Running a fluid dynamic bearing at lower than specified spec sheets

Unlikely, its just the manaufacterer covering their selves. If the fan wouldnt go as low as manufacterer spec, ppl would be able to warranty a perfectly working fan.

I just bought this cooler (Arctic Freezer 7 X) and I assembled my PC. In the mobo BIOS I've set the fan to go as low as 100RPM and the manufacturer specifies a 300RPM to 2000RPM speed in the spec sheet

My question is:

Will this damage the fan?
