Budget (including currency): 3000€ (got some extra wiggle room)

Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: All kind of games, from minecraft to cyberpunk 2077. Also heavy 3d modeling and a lot of renderwork.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Got a decent machine already, but I will reuse some parts from it, mainly the storage. got around 5T of storage atm and looking to upgrade it in my next build cause its almost full. Will also be getting a 3090 when I get one for a decent price. I have 2 Samsung S27D390H for monitors.

2 extra core and 4 more threads on the i9. Hard to beat that. Also, Zen 3 will be giving a 5-8% uplift over a 10900K. I'd say stick with the 10900K. More cores and only slightly poorer single core for a similar price. And heavy render work will benefit from those extra threads.
