Hotspot on RTX 2080

Umbranoctuna

I have been using my Strix 2080 for Ethereum mining, the past 4 days.
Today i checked temps with Hardware monitor and noticed, that the hotspot maxed out at 99c (with fans at 45%, reported temp to afterburner : 64c)

Its not only getting that hot when mining, gaming has the same result.

Im not sure how that can be when the reported temp to Afterburner is so much lower.

Should i replace my Thermal paste / Thermal pads.
Im still inside my warranty period, should i call asus customer service?

I included some screens below.

How's the airflow in your case? What is the temperature where you live?
