Difference between sd780g and sd778g

More specifically the difference between the adreno 642 and 642L and the difference between the spectra 570 and spectra 570L isp. There may not be enough information out yet but I couldn't find anything in my search so I'm looking to see if anyone has more info.

L is for lower clock speed, that's all i know, that soc still new.

probably to lower the overall temp compared to 780g.

Thank you, is it possible that 5nm may keep temps between the 780g and 778g similar?

Probably, 778 is produced in TSMC, 780 in samsung, you can't predict the performance apple to apple based on the nm.

They give the name 778g and not 781 for a reason (probably for the lower gpu speed).

Expect it to be slightly slower in games.
