Mouse doesn't work on certain parts of mousepad

There is just a worn out part on my mousepad and i assume my mouse sensor just can't pick it up that well anymore. I've turned my mousepad around so i can use the other corner, but there is a small line that is worn out. Not a big issue, but sometimes it comes in my way.

I am just wondering if anyone has some easy solutions that i could use to fix it. If not, i'll probably just end up buying another mousepad once the other corner becomes unusable.

Just buy a new pad, if you are on a tight budget "A4 Tech" pads are ok quality and cheap AF.
