Can i use 2 different kinds of monitors?

Hello, I was wondering is it ok to use two different type of monitors? As in I have a ROG Strix 2560x1440p monitor at 120hz and i have my other MSI Monitor (Can't remember the name) but that is a 1980x1080p 120hz. Both will be using DP's and i just wanted to make sure this was good before it messes with my other monitor because i normally just used the regular 60hz which is fine with me but it uses HDMI and it will always take all the applications onto that one and not my Main one.  Please and thank you!

Yes. You of course can. But since the two monitors are of different resolutions, the scaling and stuff is a bit weird, but as long as you dont start keeping windows half on one and half on the other monitor, you should be golden. This is the main reason for why people suggest using the exact same monitors if using dual monitor.

I have a 1080p monitor horizontal, then a 720p monitor horizontal, and then another 720p monitor vertical. So its absolutely possible to use different kinds of monitors.
