If I should, could i hook up the SP120 RGB LED High Performance 120mm Fan — Three Pack to the controller built into the case?

Do you have the case already? The documentation is bit lacking so there's no pics of the controller -> No idea how many ports it might have empty. But the controller will be connected to mobo USB anyway, so if you buy another pack, make sure it also includes Lightning Node Core.
