GPU & PSU making weird Buzzing noises during Load & idle

Tyler_95

So, I just finished a build a week ago after I got my hands on an  ASUS RTX 3070.

Everything was going just fine until my PSU started making some weird buzzing noises yesterday and now my GPU is starting to make those noises as well 🤢

PSU would buzz during idle or load while the GPU would only buzz during Gaming on high FPS. ( It wouldn't buzz in the menu )

Its not that loud for me to hear it with my headphones on but loud enough to notice when watching videos or surfing the web.

I'll get some recordings posted as soon as I get home.

I'm posting this at work because I'm worry about my PSU killing the GPU and other parts.

Its definitely not the fans, I'm also pretty sure its not my AIO pump...

I did some research and people suggested it was a coil whine.

If it really is a coil whine is it safe to ignore it ?

Will it do any harm even with the PC turned Off ?

It is coil whine and it's both completely normal and completely harmless.

Sounds like a typical case of coil whine.

In some cases replacing the power supply can solve the problem.
