That's a docking connector that Lenovo uses. AFAIK it's just a regular USB-C port (potentially with Thunderbolt, not certain though) with additional pins for ethernet connectivity.

it's funny, cuz my lenovo branded dock doesn't use the extra pins, and has 2x video out, and Ethernet, et all.  

 

I've literally never seen it used.

It's present on the ThinkPad Ultra Dock at least, so some do use it.

Thanks for responding.

I finally found the manual.  Lenovo's stupidity of mixing 0s and Os... I finally found it.

 

Anyways the blue one is Thunderbolt/usb-c and the red is docking station specific.

 

Now, can the Thunderbolt/usb c be used to connect to another monitor?
