Custom PSU extension cables

I bought PSU extension cables from Aliexpress from here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001309243391.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.b18d4c4dbFewXI
and i saw them a while ago and i found it had a good reviews so i decied to buy them and they are working without any issues as for now.

 

But my questions here what's the difference between these and the expensive one like cablemod?

and also i noticed before the installation my +12v or +5v was reaching the max as shown here: https://i.imgur.com/3W9knIP.png

and after installation never reach to +12v or +5v: https://i.imgur.com/3W9knIP.png

is that normal?

Should i keep using them?

I checked with the seller he told me it's 18 AWG which it's same as my psu from Seasonic FOCUS Plus 750 Gold.

 

Sorry if was asking stupid questions i really don't know anything about PSUs.

You definitely shouldn't cheap out and buy low quality extension cables. They could potentially cause a fire, or damage your components.

But what will case fire/damage if the cable was same 18 gauge? and it's extension!

Just because each wire is 1mm thick, that doesn't suddenly mean that it's high quality.
