How does one properly use a ratchet screwdriver for screwing screws into motherboard standoffs?

ZeRedz

I can't seem to get it right, but I have to resort to using my ratchet screwdriver like a manual screwdriver because I can't seem to figure out how to make the screwdriver rotate. I know this is a really really dumb question, but has anyone ever had this problem?聽

until the screw has some friction on it (which naturally happens as you tighten it) you just have to hold the stem of the screwdriver when you rotate backwards either with your other hand, or just adjust your grip to pinch the stem a bit.

EDIT: I got the hang of it. Thanks for the reply!
