Budget (including currency): $1500-2000

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Will be used for gaming, mostly midrange games, but touching some higher end ones. The most graphically intensive being like Hunt Showdown and various VR games (for which I have an oculus rift-s). It will also be used to pursue a CS degree, and whatever programming intensive tasks that entails (which I admit, I am ill-informed of).

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):
The current list is below. As for the peripherals they are generally unimportant, I am only trying to run things on specifically at 1440p/144hz, but can definitely settle for something lower. This is a refined version of a build I posted earlier which two very helpful people assisted in. Since then I have decided I wanted to go with a much smaller build using an ITX board, and have tried to refine what I'm looking for. Still though, I would love any and all feedback from more experienced builders regarding this, since it is my very first build and could be going wrong in some areas. One small note, lest I am able to get a 3080 in the near future, I will be settling for my old 1070 card until I can get my hands on one. Though I understand that will greatly affect performance, wadd-a-ya-gonna-do.

I don't think that AIO cooler is gonna fit. The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II is a 280mm sized cooler, while according to the specifications on Cooler Master, the top can fit 2x120mm (or 240mm) however it does mention side fan slots that could fit up to 280mm but I believe thats more for cooling the GPU. Also its worth getting a 1TB sized SSD, you will be surprised how quick your storage can fill up.

No clue if the AIO will fit, however if it does you did a really solid job with this list.

If you are into CS, 6 cores is kinda lame, especially with mainstream compilers being such of pain in the butt (tcc + musl gang). And the X-Ryzens are, more or less, just regular ones but slightly overclocked and more expensive, which is a waste of money...

There are no Non X 5000 Series processors currently available for desktop

A 5600X might be fine for just gaming, but CS is something that I always find to be difficult to less core-ed processors. Go with a 5800X, you can usually find one on discount, or if you can, buy a 5900X if you can find one.

I suggest looking at some of Noctua's air coolers. They're tiny and can still handle the hot Zen 3 parts from AMD, and are cheaper than AIOs.
