So recenlty i got a new pc that contains i9 9900 with gigabyte b365m ds3h mb and i feel kinda bored with that mb because doesn't look good anymore. I think i'll buy msi mag b365m mortar just for the look. Also i don't have a gpu because of prices and stocks in Turkey . just wanted to ask if theres any technical advantages of this motherboard. Also which gpu would be best with i9 9900 / 4x8 2666 hyperx fury and 650w psu, 1650 is probably lowest i can go but thats what i can afford in this times.

Ugh, that's the most weird build i've seen. 9900+1650 is solid bottleneck.

Get 2x8gb 3200, up your gpu to a 1660 super at least for decent fps, any b365 above 120usd is fine

Kind of dumb. To improve looks, add rgb or maybe a case swap.

Get 2x8gb 3200,

Why would he do this, he already has 4x8gb of ram at 2666. The speed is the max b365 supports anyway

Big nerd.

I wouldn't bother upgrading that motherboard, there really isn't any reason to do so. Yes, it does look a little better and might be built slightly better, but it's a B- series chipset, so no overclocking, and therefore no real need for a higher end board unless you need features from the higher end ones (which you often don't). As for the GPU, with a 9900, I'd shoot for something like a 3060 or 3060 Ti, but those cards are unobtanium. It would probably be a good idea to just use the iGPU until you either find a guy who doesn't realize how much something is selling for on Craigslist or equivalent (they aren't very common anymore, but they do exist), or score a card at MSRP

this is the situation im in, i cant even buy 20 series / i dont like rgb / i don't game (Stranded deep med settings max.). Yea i bought i9 9900 with these specs but its just for desktop uses and some low graphic games (brawlhalla, besiege, terraria etc.) for the look i'll add a ml240l liquid cooler that i don't even need and wanted to change motherboard that, was out of stock when i got this pc, just wanted to know if theres any advantages of this mb or even disadvantage. Because when i was building this system my current mb was set for 8th gen or something, it was on restart loop and flashing every light on pc. There was a 8th gen i5 on asus mb, we switched cpus and tried to boot, switched up again, somehow my motherboard was finally able to boot when i put the i9 back on it. Thats why im scared, now if i buy that mortar and the same "set as 8th gen" problem, i'm not able to set it as 9th gen cuz of pandemic ban (i5 is at workplace). Thats kinda why i wanted to take advise.

In a nutshell i don't need performance.
