So my computer runs fine when it's on, however when I power off it doesn't power up right away. There is a quick flash of light from RGB product and then a click sounds and it doesn't power on. I have to turn the power switch off in the back for at least an hour before being able to turn back on.  Like I said it runs great when it is on and don't see any problems with power or functionality when running just after shutting down it does not power back on. Please help!

The definition of “off” can be a bit vague on modern computers.  I just watched an LTT video which mentioned Holding shift+shutdown does a more thorough “for realz” shutdown.  If shutting the machine off at thef switch and then pulling and replacing the CMOS battery (a small coin shaped battery clipped to the motherboard.  Often near the center though sometimes they’re under a cover or something) significantly shortens things it could be a bios issue.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
