GoPro vs windows 10

I am not a computer guy. I have a Samsung Galaxy note book running windows 10 as my daily computer. The last computer I built was over 20 yrs ago. 

I am more of an adrenaline/Grease monkey. One of the thing that caught my attention was the gopro max with it's 360 degree recording. Amazing video on my cell. However, gopro's app crashes when using windows 10. I'm not going to buy a Mac just to do video editing. 

GoPro company refuses to even respond to the thousands with the same issue. Is there another solution?

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're trying to do, and why it's not working.

Are you looking for other video editing software? Or is it camera software that's crashing?

Due to the videos being 360, only GoPro supports it. I can't even view the videos with any other editor. Plus the GoPro app is sluggish and choppy when it does play video. I want to be able to view and edit my rides.

Ah, then it sounds like there aren't really many options for you. You could find out what the file type is, and see if that's compatible with any other software.

If not, if you want help with systems that might work you'd need to post the spec of your current machine so we know what you're using.

Also, you need to quote or tag people for them to know you've replied.

What are your computer specs? 

 

Have you updated windows and the GoPro player application?
