Highly doubtful. Most laptop CPU's are soldered to the motherboard.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

core i3 m350

THat processor was launched 11 years ago. Hope you didn't pay much for that laptop.

But without knowing which laptop you bought, it's impossible to say, but likely not.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

I paid $150 for it

Oh dear you got SUPER ripped off. That is a horrible price. You can get 4x better laptops easily on ebay for that money.

If you can return it. That laptop is so old and even the best cpu is just not good. That and the graphics drivers aren't supported in windows 10 so you end up with a pretty terrible experience and it's basically useless.

The i3 m350 came out almost 12 years ago so its pretty old. Also most laptops have the cpu soldered on to the board, so there isn't that likely of a chance that you will be able to upgrade it

Back then almost every laptop cpu was not soldered to the board.

I second that, There is a lot of nice Lenovo Thinkpads on ebay just looking for a new owner. They can be easily be upgraded with a SSD and more ram.

Thing is if you look around you can find dells, hps probooks, lenovo's,... with a ssd, newer i5 and 8gb of ram for 150$. Those are actually still usable and supported in windows 10. This laptop is pretty much landfill at this point.

Even then you would be held back by the chipset and which cpu's would be compatible with it

Yeah already mentioned that. Even the best one is meh cpu wise and well the integrated graphics don't have a intel driver so it's going to be a big bag of suck.

If you can return it. If not sell it it's not a usable laptop in this day and age at all. Windows 8 is as far as it can go (doesn't run it well but it works better) but that ends support soon so yeah not really a good idea.

Yeah it can run windows 10. Just horribly. I never said it can't. It's just not fully supported so it uses windows basic drivers. Just try to run a 1080p yt video. It can't do that. So really return it or sell it asap.
