Gaming PC Build (£2,000/$3,500)

Hi,

Following up from my previous thread (Is this a good spec?I did indeed decide to wait for the 3000 GPU series.

I'm fine with the 30xx waiting-times. I may consider the GPU empty and buy a card elsewhere (if quicker) as I've seen OC/Currys get MSI randomly in-store (not online).

This is a pre-build system request from PCS (UK).
I'm aware it's "easy" to build a PC, cheaper and sometimes quicker. However, I don't have the time anymore my last 3 systems are self-built and now i'm just at the point where a pre-build is fine.

If you have suggestions what to change/edit please let me know!

Budget £2,000-£2,500 GBP (system only; no peripherals; no operating system)
Use-case Gaming Warzone/FPS (1080p-1440p), Live Streaming (Twitch), Programming, Video editing (casual hobby; stream highlights/clips nothing serious)
Monitor(s) 3x 1440p. Left/Right for Twitch chat, OBS etc. Middle display gaming only. Yet to purchase monitors.
Life I'll likely use this system for a good few years, maybe swapping parts over time.

as always, THANK YOU!

Stay safe.

Suggestions:

  • Use the Crosshair VIII Hero WiFi motherboard and drop the add on WiFi card.
  • Drop the hdd. Use a 1TB Samsung 970 for system and a 2TB MP400 for storage.
  • Go with an RMx750 psu instead of the 850.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Thanks for the suggestions :) actually I don't use Wi-Fi so the Wi-Fi card was removed.

In that case I would suggest the Strix B550-F or the original X570-F choice.

Thanks! I've been advised a 3070 is more than enough for my needs so will now hunt one down :)

Any ideas of what FPS i would expect in a title like Cold War or Warzone? 1080p and 1440p based on these sample settings (minus he using a 3090).
