Can't Get Into Windows

So my Win 10 machine just told me to f#ck off a week and a half before finals. I can get the CMD on the troubleshoot option but CHKDSK won't run properly/fully, SFC /SCANNOW won't run properly/fully, and the (I think it's called) bootsec operations won't run completely. Safe Mode is not an option given. When I use an ISO to try to repair it, it just restarts. How screwed am I? I do have files backed up so if a fresh install is the only option left, then so be it. 

 

And the pipeline near me just had a cyber attack, so gas will probably go even higher.

Can you give some more details on what's going on? Are you getting a bluescreen on boot or what's the issue. I just heard about a faulty update from Windows that triggers on AM4-Mainboards with X570 from Gigabyte and using NVMe-SSD as your boot device. Essentially it installs the wrong driver and Windows cannot access the device properly. The supposed fix is to go into repair mode and select the last known recovery point which should load to original driver again and let you boot up windows again.

 

Once inside Windows do not reboot as it will just install the wrong driver again. You need to go to the device manager, go to the 'AMD-RAID Bottom Device' (should be under storage devices) and in the properties select rollback driver. Then it should work. (Might not be your issue, but without having any more details about your problem it's hard to help)

It is an LGA 1150 system with a sata ssd. It can't uninstall any updates. No BSOD just the "pick a keyboard" then "hey something isn't right, here are your options"

Mhm... but what is the actual error coming up when you try to boot into Windows? And do you get any options from System Restore?

 

Is your disk listed in the BIOS? Can you access the disk from the command prompt at all?

There was no error presented. I would say what it was like but I have been warned to be more sensitive. It would not let me do a system restore as it did not save any restore points... f#cking piece of trash. 

The disk was listed in the BIOS and I can access it from the command prompt. What I ended up doing was the same as this ugly f#cker, (joking about him being ugly). Thanks to him I decided to clean the boot partition in diskpart and having windows rebuild it. So far the only issue that I am having is that when I click on the flag and tell it to shutdown, it will shutdown but will automatically start backup like a zombie.
