Just want to know what the best r9 290 is

I've been looking at both the sapphire and msi versions

The 290 will be going in a 250d if that helps

Sapphire Tri-X would have to be the best.

Think I might, just a few questions, did you get any decent overclock out of it and does it get loud while gaming ?

well it will definitly be louder if you overclock. the tri-xx (whatever they are called) cards are binned so u have a really high chance of getting a good one

It did overclock really easily but I didn't pushed it too much since the stock clock is already pretty high, also, the cooler it runs, the faster it gets. As for the noise, you can hear it ingame, but it's not going to be disturbing you.

I think i'll take the plunge and get the sapphire version, hope it isnt too noisy !
