Possible gaming PC build, what do you think?

Budget (including currency): 2000 CAD (peripherals included in the cost)

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I will use it for Minecraft, programming, and recording videos. I may use it for other games that I am not exposed to right now because my current PC is incapable of running them.

Other details: I am upgrading from a laptop from 2011.

I do not wish for any other peripherals.

I will probably upgrade to a 7000 series cpu after they come out (I will upgrade my cpu soon after regardless).

I want to build it in the fall. 

I will add storage later on.

5000 series is the best it can support.

i would not get a aio as they will probalby casue more porbelms than it will solves as it is not a very powerfull and heat generating cpu in the fisrts place it would be more efficent just to get a nocua air cooler linus posed a video on this here it is

i5 11400/F is better value and will outperform the 3600 at a cheaper price point, go with the cheapest B560 for the motherboard as well. Also just a side note that PSU is quite literally a bomb: blew up during testing I would also spend a bit less on the case (P360A good opt)  and go for a 3060 Ti (much better value than the 3060) Two ssd's seem unnecessary when one 1tb nvme m.2 mp33/sn550 would cost less and still deliver exceptional performance

The cheapest B560 boards are usually terrible though i.e ASRock B560M-HDV as it has no VRM cooling. If the op wanted to stick an i7/i9 in there later on he would be screwed.

An upgrade to an i7 (lets take 11700/F into this example) wouldn't be much of an improvement than the 11400/F anyways. If it was an overclockable chip then a Z series would be wiser upgrade choice along with the chip. Although I do agree with you on the lackluster vrms they should be adequate for an 11400/F. A B560 Pro4/Steel Legend are also viable options

Drop the SATA ssd and get a sn550, it's close to the same price for nvme

Depends what he is doing with the pc. A 6 core is fine for now for gaming but if he wanted extra cores in the future for things like video editing etc he would need something with a decent VRM. The B560 Steel Legend would be my suggestion if going with an ASRock board, or you have ones like the MSI B560 Torpedo and Asus B560 TUF Gaming.
