Windows Defender. Least usage of ressources, doesn't intervene with system files and processes, is integrated, does all you need if you don't go to dubious websites and click every sketchy advertisement.

Yeah it is good enough, and if I'm about to download something kinda sketchy, I will put it in www.virustotal.com and www.hybrid-analysis.com to make sure.

Windows Defender is also the worst of all the antivirus softwares.

Use Kaspersky or Norton instead.

Just crank the windows defender to the max, lol

did you even watch the video? It makes the pc unusable for home users, interfering with games and applications.

a good antivirus can give better protection without any such problems

It CAN give problems, but he installed some game, moved stuff from the network drive to the pc with no problems. I'd need more vids to watch checking out the limitations

https://www.av-test.org/en/?r=1 and https://www.av-comparatives.org/consumer/ test different AV software's. Pick something that is constantly on top. For example Kaspersky and BitDefender are solid last time I looked.
