I was wondering if this build would be good for me... Should I go Nvidia? Also, is there any place I could get such a Video Card? Any tweaks, suggestions?

Video cards are just hard to get atm for anything like normal retail price.  It’s bad enough that it’s not a question of which modern video card is best but which one can you get ahold of.   There may be more cooler there than is needed.  The 5800x isn’t a particularly hot chip.  Money could also be saved on the SSD.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
