how do i save outlook imbox

My parents that use a windows 98 machine told me to built them a windows 7 pc.
My dad always used outlook on his old pc and he whants it on the new one, now i was able to sing in to his account on the new pc 2010 outlook but the inbox does not sync, and he is all mad about that and i dont know how to make it able so he can see his old mails that friends and people send him before changing the pc.

how can i make his old inbox show on the new pc?

For Windows 7 I know Outlook stores its files in Libraries>Documents>Outlook files. So it'll probably be in My documents for 98.

It really depends on what version of outlook was installed on the 98 machine! If its not too old, you should be able to export the mails, contacts, etc. all into one file (.pst) and then import it on the new machine. The only thing left to do would be to setup the email adress, done.
