great thanks. meaning when i do install i can update bios without having to install cpu , correct??

you may have to put in the cpu, but you wont need to get a cpu that is out of the box compatible, like a with some boards. You also dont even need a gpu installed. Just a motherboard, psu, possibly cpu, and memory

I can get this board for the 5900x correct? or i cannot ?

you can. It may not work out of the box, but asus motherboards have bios flashback features that allow you to update the bios without a compatible cpu installed.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

FYI the CPU only needs to be present on ASUS' ITX boards.
