Computer Doesn't Boot (Dead PSU?)

Go to solution Solved by pchupp,

I contacted the SI and they are sending me a new power supply. Thank you for all your suggestions!

Yesterday evening, when I finished my computer session, I shut down like I always do, but when I pressed the power button this evening, my computer did not turn on.

The first step I took is to check the power supply, and it seems like it is dead which is a real shame since I just got it less than a month ago. I have read through and followed the pinned post about a computer no POSTing without any beeps.

Here are the steps I have taken to troubleshoot it:

- Plug in using a different cable

- Plug in using a different outlet

- Closing the circuit on the two pins fourth and third from the right when the clip is facing me as well as

- Tried the same idea as above but fourth from the right and fourth from the left

- Pray that the gods might hear me

Here are my specs:

EVGA 600 GD 80+ Gold

ASUS B550 Prime Plus

AMD Ryzen 5 3600

MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6

1TB WD Blue SN550 Series PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD

2TB Barracuda Compute SATA-III HDD

2x 8gb Crucial Ballistics Sport 3000Mhz

Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Do you notice any activity at all, ie. hard drives or fans spinning up? Also, might be a long shot, but do you have a multi meter?

No other fans or drives spun up and unfortunately no, I don't have a multi meter.
