Should i get a ssd and regular storage

Burrand
Go to solution Solved by mr fobs,

PCI 3.0 Budget Friendly
PCI 3.0 Max

PCI 4.0 and what I have in my Build

PCI 4.0 Max and overkill

Actually the $150 Sabrent one dropped in price so its a pretty solid deal considering the PCI 3.0 Crucial isn't too far behind it.
I have used all of these and like them all.

I was looking around and i saw ssd's as well as just regular stoage and i was wondering is it worth it to get both or the the ssd?

It depends on what your storing. 1TB ssd aren't as expensive as they used to be and you can find them under $120 easily.

However if you need 2TB + of storage then getting a HDD or multiple cheaper SSDs would be good to get for the bulk storage and getting a SSD for everyday use.

Sorry I probably edited my post. Refresh plz. Build Specs Below.

You're not giving us enough info to actually make a recommendation with.

It entirely depends on your budget and use case.

Im using the Nzxt h210 mini itx power case and im trying to keep it around the 1000 usd

Im not going to store a lot of games so 1 tb should be enough

A 1TB SSD can easily fit in a $1000 build. Do you need an m.2 or SATA ssd? That is dependent on your Motherboard

So your mother board if I am correct supports PCI 4 m.2 SSDs However  if you don't want to drop an uncisarry amount of money on one, you can get a PCI 3 m.2 and still have super fast read/write speed

I'm not super familiar with intel, however if you are wanting a tiny motherboard, it seems like you have a pretty good one for general use and gaming.

Keep in mind that 11th gen intel's are the ones that support PCI 4.o, anything below that does not I do not think.

The Crucial P2 is DRAM-less. It'll function just fine, but a TLC drive with DRAM cache is a better option for your boot drive if you have the budget for it. The SN550 is the best-priced one at the moment.
