Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Ryzen 5 3600,

B450 Prime AII 

16gb ddr4

550 Cooler Master

AMD Radeon Rx 570 4gb

Just looking to see what a possible good upgrade to this setup could be. Keep in mind, Im very new to pc building. Im looking to get at least a steady 144 fps all round.

At 1440p i would go for a 3070. At 1080p, flash your BIOS so you can plop in 5600X and get a 3060Ti. But with the market shortage right now, im just listing that when the market returns to sanity. In the meantime, keep your RX 570 close.

not worth it. 5600x is much faster but not enough to justify paying 300$ for it when you already have a good cpu.

 

ryzen 5 3600 is decent. i would go for 6700XT or 3060/3060ti/3070

If you cannot find those mayby used 5700XT or rtx 2060 super or better

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
