Different frequencies mean that mobo will use the slower one as default.

mismatched frequency is fine, the faster ram will slow itself down to the slower ones. Im more worried on if itll boot or not because Dell is known to just bork itself if you plug in a memory thats not in their QVL compatibility list.

if you're worried because your performance is bad its probably the lack of a gpu not the ram

The memory works and i was just concerned about the frequencies Thx.

the thing is the performance i get is the same as a mobile core i3 3rd gen locked that my friend has and he also only have the igpu in his laptop. Thats why i asked about performance.

While I'd expect it to be better, I wouldn't expect it to be much better. What games are you and your friend playing?

Games like far cry 3, assasians creed rouge, Minecraft and stuff but even in csgo i get the same performance while i have 4th gen desktop corei3 and 4gb more ram than him.
