Cha_fan3 wont spin rear fan.

Sorry fellas. It was indeed those extenders. One of the damn pins pulled out of the socket. Replaced it. Fan works. I should've investigated further before posting. Thank you all anyway.

I recently relocated my pc's rear 140mm fan from cpu_opt to cha_fan3. RGB functions as its on the same header as before, but the fan will not spin. Yet this same port spun my two 200mm front fans which are daisy chained to a 3 pin connector that is actually two pin ( ones hollow ) The rear fan is four pin. I thought maybe I had the plug on upside down, but the port is keyed so I cant go wrong.

you can't plug a 4 pin fan into a 3 pin port. if you did not know, the rgb port does not spin the fans, only the sys. fan header or the chassis fan header does. The rgb port only powers the rgb. Make sure that you plugged it in.

Its a 4 pin port. The front fans that were previsly conencted to it was a 3 pin connector. Those are on cha_fan2 now and functioning. I moved the rear 140mm fan from cpu_opt where it did work to cha_fan3 where it now doesnt. According to my mobo manual ( dark hero ) they all output the same wattage. So im wondering if maybe these extenders I got may be bad... Which I had to apply for the fan power to reach cha_fan3.

You can, it will run 100% or in DC mode not PWM.
