1st Time PC Build

Go to solution Solved by Matt345673846,

.

Budget (including currency): 1500$ - 1700$ CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly AAA games, a bit of editing (trying to learn), and Unity for coding.

Other details: I've never built a PC before and I'm trying to pick out parts. What I currently have picked out is:

Case = H510 Compact Atx Mid-Tower

Motherboard = MSI MPG Z490

CPU = Intel i5 10600k

GPU = GeForce RTX 2070 Super

Ram = G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB

Storage = Western Digital WD BLACK SN750 NVMe

Power Supply = EVGA 100-N1-0750-L1 750W

All I need to know is if I'm missing anything that I'll need, if these parts are compatible and if I'll get a good experience out of this PC.

He's got an SN750 NVMe drive.

OP, don't bother with the H510. It's basically a glass box and will suffocate your components.
In its place, get a Phanteks P300A Mesh.

How much are you paying for the 10600K?
Do you have the budget to step up to an 11600K (and possibly a Z590 board as well)?

From what I saw the 10600k would cost me around 300$ with the 11600k being like 60$ more so I probably could step that up. What would be the benefits of getting the 11600k instead of the 10600k? Also the changing out the motherboard would do what exactly?

 @FakeKGBI looked a bit more into the Z590 Board and the 11600k and I can fit those two into my budget. Is there anything else that I would need like extra cables or something like that or is this good?
