Budget (including currency):

1200 USD (without graphics card)

Country:

US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

So I plan to use this mainly for work (below), but would also like to do some casual gaming and hang about on Discord.

I am an ML research grad student, so my budget is limited. I deal with image and video processing pipelines daily and have remote GPU computational resources for that. And seeing the current state, no GPU for now.

RAM is a priority for me. I have, on average, about 300 chrome tabs open for some stuff or the other (264 right now).

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I am planning to get everything anew (except the mouse). I'd be looking for a GPU later (once the situation is better and I get some form of fellowship), but till then I'm happy with integrated graphics (hence, Intel). Although, I'm getting a good PSU so that I would not have to change stuff again when I get it.

I'll probably have a budget of USD 400 - USD 500 for the GPU. Recommendations are appreciated!

Also, I might add a second monitor later on. But I could probably change both monitors then.

First time building a PC. Went and selected parts to the best of my knowledge. Would appreciate any insights.

What kind of games are you going to play cause you monitor have just 60Hz which means you will get 60 fps max.

I'm not really looking for serious gaming. Chill sessions on GTA V and stuff like that (just to take a break from work).

60 fps should be fine with me. In any case, I have ~100 USD still leftover. I might consider upgrading the monitor if you think so.
