im thinking about geting i5 9600k  with a msi mag b365m mortar motherboard a gtx 950(200)  a 600w gold psu and corsair vengence rgb pro sl

my main consern is that i want to build inside of a old dell optiplex is ther gonna airflow problems

also im considering a 11 gen (to take advantige of the corsair ram) but the motherbords are mildly expensive

if i was gonna get a 11 gen i would get a i5 11400f

my budget is 650 usd

i might just skip out on the gpu and get a 3400g but i would rather stick with intel i could also save 100 bucks and get a gtx 750 ti

There might be worse problems then airflow, dell prebuilds often use weird standards meaning stuff might not fit without modification

Reminder⚠️

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Please try searching up the answer before you post here but I am always glad to help

Which old DELL Optiplex are you going to be building in. Most of them have terrible airflow characteristics, not to mention, a non-standard layout.

Are you sure those actually support ATX PSU and motherboard?

Anyway, imo i would go for 10400F and a B560 board, as B560 board allows for RAM overclocks regardless of your CPU. But right now the 10400 is priced cheaper than 10400F due to demand.

This is how i would do it, with hopes that you can shove in those parts in the dell case. But if not, everyone has a secondary case.No computer case? No worries! | Gough's Tech Zone

You won't be using a ATX PSU in a 7010 mini case from looking at the case
