I have an overclocking question. I started experimenting mining ethereum with my alienware laptop that has a Nvidia RTX 3070 8MB ram. I am running the gpu memory clock at 1700mhz & the core clock at -502mhz and its drawing 140w of power and the fan is at 100% . The temp of gpu is showing 62C. Is this ok? Can i go higher on the memory clock? how high is ok? Can I run these overclocked settings for a couple years with no issues? Getting a hash rate of 67MH/s with current settings

Are you modifying the tdp?

the memory hould go as high as it stable

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Thats pretty good for ethash, even though ampere prefers CyptoNight or Octopus.

But for the overclock, the general consensus is to lower the power limit to as low as it goes, keep core at stock, and overclock the memory until its unstable.

hey man, have you head any troubles running that 3070? I also have a 3070 laptop, Max-Performance model, getting 59-60MH, my friend says that the retailer can do some BIOS work which puts the laptop out of warranty but leads to 67MH hashrate. what'd you say? thanks in advance
