So long as it's a good quality 650W unit (i.e. Corsair RMx 650W or SeaSonic FOCUS Plus Gold 650W), you shouldn't have any issues.

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

Got any questions about my system or peripherals? Feel free to tag me (@bellabichon) and I'll be happy to give you my two cents.

PSA: Posting a PCPartPicker list with no explanation isn't helpful for first-time builders :)

Go for the 750, they're very similar in price, and it would give you a bit more wiggle room for upgrades later on. You would live with a 650w, but your upgrade options would be limited.

Ohhh okay thank you, I don’t think I’m gonna be upgrading because I’m right on the budget.

As Ronothan above me suggests, you are better off having some extra "wiggle room" than not.

You are just protecting yourself for the future that little more.

After all, it's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Just be sure it's a good quality unit. You're better off with a good quality 650w than a mid to bad quality 750w+. If you already have one (which it sounds like), you won't need to upgrade, but if you're going new, it's worth the extra $10-20.

Oh okay, thank you ! I’m full not sure since you said as long as it’s quality. It’s a gigabyte 650 bronze, so I think I might just go with the 750

That’s true, thank you for the help 😄

Check for that unit on here. I would not really recommend using a PSU below tier C, and would not really suggest buying one below tier B.
