What laptop configuration should I choose?

I am looking for a new laptop for 1080p gaming, school work, CAD and Blender. I want a good quality machine but can't spend much more than $1200. There are a few different specification/quality categories of configuration that I have found and need some help deciding which is best. The three categories are all around $1200 for me and are as follows: A Ryzen 9 4900HS CPU and GTX 1660ti GPU in a high end chassis like the Zephyrus G14, An Intel i7-10750h with an RTX 2060 in a high end chassis like the Razer Blade 15 (base model) or Lenovo Legion 7i, and finally there's a Ryzen 7 5800h with a RTX 3060 but in a low end chassis like the Acer Nitro 5 (RTX 3060 in the nitro is only running at 85w tdp however) which is obviously worse quality than the others. There is also a Legion 5 with a Ryzen 7 5800H and RTX 3060 that can use 130w for $1160 but is currently saying ships in more than 6 weeks (not sure if this is because of an error, low stock or if it just hasn't actually been released yet here in the UK so I will try and ask lenovo tomorrow). Which of these do you think I should get?

Without a doubt the new Legion 5, best CPU and GPU, plus you get a nice 16:10 display, and better quality body. I'd avoid the Razer with the i7, that will be outdated soon and sucks power anyway. The reason that the Legion 5 ships a lot later is because it is a lot newer, so has the latest parts inside, so I'd recommend waiting for it. It may not have properly released here in the UK yet, but will be worth it when it does.

Ok. I thought like it seemed to be the best. I can’t wait more than 6 weeks though so if it does take that long what would your second choice be?

If graphics isn't as important, then I'd go Zephyrus G14; good build, solid and recent CPU. If graphics is more of a priority then there's no harm in going Intel, just be aware that it'll run hotter, use more battery, and deliver slightly lower performance.
