NVME SSD: Do I need a new screw

(noob question) Do I need a new screw when I get my NVME SSD or can I use the screw thing from the image attached?

That is not a screw. That is where you screw the screw in. You will need a compatible screw if your motherboard didn't came with one.

That's just the nut that the M.2 drive rests on, you'll need the screw from your motherboard box (or any CM2x3-3.3 screw).

I feel a bit silly for not knowing before...

(I don't have one from my motherboard so I'm going to check my dads toolbox to see if I can find a screw that works or I'll order one online)

Update: I got my SSD today and I wanted to check it out. Unfortunately it did not come with any patience and the screw I ordered is coming in around 5 days. 

Would it be safe to use it for 5 days without the screw or should I wait?
